Organize Your Closet Now!

Does your closet looks like a collapsed storage shed? Do you have nightmares about it? Does your closet look like a scene from Star Wars? You know the one ... with the monster in the water ....

Here are some tips to organize your closet and get rid of these nightmares. The first thing to do is go through everything and get rid of what you wear. Many of us hang on to things for years, even though we do not carry them any more. Of course, some way will be back in style, but do not really want to keep all that lycra and polyester? I do not think so.

if it's something you do not want to get rid of, try marking the hanger with some tape. If you wear it, then do it in what you have. If you do not wear it after the season to give to charity or sell it on eBay or similar place. Or you can have a good old fashioned yard sale.

Once you've decided what to keep. Organize!

You can get some clear containers for items such as shoes, accessories, etc. .. This will allow you to see what was inside, and a bunch of stuff to take advantage of your space in the closet. It also helps to reduce the cluttered appearance.

Hangers are a place not to be stingy. It is good to invest in a nice wooden hanger for your jacket and nice clothes. Wire hangers do not support his clothes properly. Use you're nice to hang clothes hangers for certain types near each other to reduce the search time for clothes in the morning.

Do not hang all of course. Sweaters for example ... It can be folded and stacked in neat, manageable sized stacks or boxes that can be branded. Other wise you end up with high-leaning potentially disastrous pile of shirts and sweaters.

If you still have too much to organize in your wardrobe season can be a way to go. You May have to put off-season clothes in a container that can be stored elsewhere during the current season. It could be stored under the bed or in another closet or maybe your house in the Poconos!

I hope these tips will help you organize your closet and reduce the clutter in there!
